Apply the parking brake.

Shift into neutral.

Leave the engine running at idling speed.

Vehicles with manual transmission: depress

take-off switch.

If power take-off is engaged, the 

0

 acti-

vation status indicator is shown in the dis-

play of the on-board computer. The indicator

lamp in the 

I

 power take-off switch then

lights up.

Vehicles with manual transmission: when

the display shows the engaged power take-

off, release the clutch pedal.

i

The indicator lamp in the 

I

 switch of

the power take-off flashes for approximately

1.5 seconds. Only then is power take-off

engaged. If you press the lower section of

the 

I

 power take-off switch during this

period, power take-off will not be engaged.

You cannot engage power take-off when the

parking brake is released. In this case, the yel-

low event window in the on-board computer

shows

 and 

Engage parking brake

.

Apply the parking brake and engage power

take-off again.

If the 

/

 symbol flashes in the display of the

on-board computer, the electronic manage-

ment system does not recognise the vehicle's

current operating state:

Engine speed setting

You can set the idling speed and the working

speed.
To operate auxiliary equipment, e.g. hydraulic

pumps, the engine must be running at a spe-

cific speed (working speed).
