responsible manner.
Observe laws and regulations on the disposal
of AdBlue
® in the country concerned.
Purity
! BlueTec
®
exhaust gas aftertreatment will
be destroyed if you:
R
fill up the AdBlue
®
tank with cleaning
agent or other fuels or service products
R
add additives
R
dilute AdBlue
®
Only use AdBlue
®
in line with ISO 22241. Do
not mix AdBlue ® with additives and do not
dilute AdBlue
®
with water. Do not fill up the
AdBlue
®
tank with other fuels or service
products. If the tank is filled with the wrong
product, contact a qualified specialist work-
shop.
! Impurities in AdBlue
®
, e.g. due to other
service products, cleaning products or dust,
may lead to:
R
increased emission values
R
damage to the catalytic converter
R
engine damage
R
malfunctions in the BlueTec ® exhaust gas
aftertreatment
Ensure that AdBlue
®
is always pure to avoid
malfunctions in BlueTec
®
exhaust gas after-
treatment.
If AdBlue
®
is pumped from the AdBlue
®
tank,
e.g. during repairs, do not use this fluid to refill
the tank. Otherwise, the purity of the fluid
would no longer be guaranteed.

Environmental note
Only wash your vehicle at a wash bay
designed for this purpose. Dispose of empty
containers and used cleaning products in an
environmentally responsible manner.
Regular care helps to maintain the value of the
vehicle.
Mercedes-Benz recommends that you only use
care products that have been approved for
Mercedes-Benz. You can obtain these care
products from any Mercedes-Benz Service
Centre.
If you need to wash upper parts of the vehicle,
always use suitable ladders or other non-slip
climbing aids.
Cleaning the interior
Cleaning the seat covers
! Observe the following points when wet
cleaning the vehicle interior:
R
Never use a high-pressure cleaner.
R
Make sure that no liquids enter or are left
in gaps or cavities.
R
Ensure that there is sufficient ventilation
when cleaning.
R
Make sure that the vehicle interior dries
completely after cleaning.
! Microfibre cloths should not be used to
clean covers made from artificial leather.
The microfibre cloth can damage the cover
if used frequently.
! Clean:
R
artificial leather covers with a cloth mois-
tened with a solution containing 1% deter-
gent, e.g. washing-up liquid.
R
cloth covers with a microfibre cloth mois-
tened with a solution containing 1% deter-
