Starting route simulation
A route can be simulated using this function.

Create the route.

The route overview appears.

Select 4 .

Select Simulation Simulation .
The simulation begins.

To skip back to the previous change of
direction: select C .
X
To skip forward to the next change of
direction: select D .
X
To interrupt the simulation: select Ë .
X
To increase the simulation speed: select
1x.
The simulation speed is increased 4-fold, 8-
fold or 16-fold.

To end the simulation: select X.
Saving the destination

Enter the desired destination.
The location is shown on the map.

Select 4 .

Select Save Location Save Location .

Select Y .
The destination is saved in Saved Saved Location Location .
During route guidance
Navigation announcements
Navigation messages should guide you during
the journey without distracting you from traffic
conditions or driving. Always use this function
as a guide instead of the map display. The sym-
bols or the map display could distract you from
traffic conditions and driving.
Repeating navigation announcements

Press the MAP button.
The map view appears.

Press the MAP button again.
The multimedia system repeats the previous
navigation message.
