Switching alternative frequencies

on/off

If this function is switched on, the multimedia

system tries to ensure the best possible recep-

tion, using alternative frequencies where nec-

essary. In doing so, regional programmes are

taken into account. In addition, the switching

behaviour is affected by environmental condi-

tions and reception conditions and may, there-

fore, change. Poor reception conditions could

lead to undesired and disruptive frequency

changes. In this case, switch off

station

tracking.

This function is available in the FM waveband.

When the function is activated, the multimedia

system switches to a station broadcasting traf-

fic reports for the duration of a traffic report:

if a station without traffic reports is switched

if another audio source is switched on

USB device and memory card

Important safety notes

WARNING

Keep the SD card out of the reach of children.

If a SD card is swallowed, seek medical atten-

tion immediately.

Connecting a USB device

Connect the USB device to the USB port with

the contacts facing down.

Inserting and removing an SD card

Inserting an SD card

Insert the SD card into the SD card slot with

the contacts at the front and facing down-

wards.

Removing an SD card

Press the SD card.

Remove the SD card.

Activating audio playback from an SD

card or USB device

The multimedia system supports USB devi-

ces and microSD cards up to a maximum

capacity of 32 GB.

Press the MEDIA button.

Select

SD card

The folder structure of the selected audio

source appears.

Select the required folder.

Select the required track.

Playback of the audio file starts. The audio

files are played in the order in which they were

saved to the data medium.
