Ignore Lock (Simulation Mode)
The submenu „Ignore Lock“ lets the user enable or disable the SYNC simulation
mode. If you want to use the DCF77 PZF-receiver without connecting an antenna this
mode will simulate a valid output for the NTP daemon. This is only for test purposes.
„Ignore Lock“ should be disabled under normal operating conditions.
Initial Time
The submenu „Initial Time“ lets the user set the time and date of the DCF77 PZF-
receiver. Press OK to edit and to confirm the time and date of the PZF-receiver. After
setting the time manually the NTP daemon will be restarted automatically.
Setup Serial Out
This menu lets the user configure the baud rate and the framing of the serial RS232
port to one of the following values:
Baud Rate: 300 to 9600
Framing: 7E2, 8N1, 8E1, 8O1
COM0 provides a time string once per second, once per minute or on request. If the
„on request“ is activated you have to send the character „?“ to get the time string.
Default: COM: 9600 baud, 7E2, once per second
The type of time string is „Standard Meinberg“. Time strings are described in the
appendix at the end of this documentation.
