EGR VALVE MODULATOR 

 

COMPONENT DESCRIPTION 

 

A pulse-width-modulated signal is output for the Exhaust Gas Recirculation actuator control. The ECU derives the 
duty cycle based on the engine speed and injector energizing time and sends the PWM signal to the EGR modulator. 
The possible defects are short circuit to battery, ground & no load.
