CLUTCH SWITCH
COMPONENT DESCRIPTION
The clutch switch is located on the clutch pedal assembly. The signal is checked for plausibility using gear
information. For C04 Clutch switch is a normally closed switch which opens when the clutch pedal is depressed. For
C55 Clutch switch is a normally open switch which closes when the clutch pedal is depressed.

NORMAL OPERATION
The clutch switch outputs ground, which corresponds to the clutch position. The ECU gives 5 V to the clutch switch
and checks whether the clutch switch is closed or open by the clutch position.
