Procedure

Clear the error codes
and verify

Connect the smart tester

Turn the ignition ON

Initialize the diagnostic tool

Record the DTC and clear

Turn ignition OFF

Turn ignition ON

Verify if P0704 is present
Is P0704 present?
YES
NO

Turn ignition off

Clutch switch connector
disconnected

Check the continuity
between clutch switch
connector pin 1 and battery
negative
Step 1
Does continuity
exists?
Go to Step 2
YES

Repair/replace the
open circuit in the
wiring harness
NO
