TEST PROCEDURE
Is thermostat present
in the cooling
circuit ?

Replace if problem is in
coolant temperature sensor

Repair the wiring harness
if the problem is in wiring
harness

Clear the error codes and
verify

Install a new thermostat in
the cooling circuit

Clear the error codes and
verify

Check for proper
functioning of the
coolant temperature
sensor and its wiring
harness
Is temperature sensor
and its wiring harness
is Okay
?
NO

Check the thermoswitch
for any malfunction

Replace if required

Check the fan for any
malfunction

Replace if required

Clear the error codes and
verify
YES

Check the cooling fan
switching ON temperature
Is cooling fan is ON
only above 74°C ?
YES NO
Step 1

Check the thermostat
opening temperature is
87°C
(follow the procedure in
repair manual)

If the thermostat
malfunctions replace the
thermostat with a new one
