
Check the continuity
between pin 2 of the
EGR actuator
connector and terminal
87 of the ECU relay

exist?

Ignition OFF

Repair the open circuit

Clear the error codes
and verify

Ignition OFF

Check for proper
functioning of the ECU
relay

Check for any loose
connections and rectify

Check for any pin bend
and rectify

Clear the error codes and
verify

Ignition OFF

EGR actuator connector
DISCONNECTED

ECU connector DISCONNECTED

Check the continuity between pin 1 of
the EGR actuator connector and pin
49 of the ECU connector
Does continuity
exist?
NO

Ignition OFF

Repair the open circuit

Clear the error codes
and verify

Ignition OFF

Replace the EGR
actuator with new one

Clear the error codes
and verify
YES
