The subrack power cables (CC848926903) must be led from the
PDP-M to the subracks (see also figure below).
Alarm wiring
The following 3 alarm cables are needed for one rack if the rack is
equipped with two subracks:
•
Alarm cable, 1.6 m (CC848979951)
→
to upper subrack
Cable connection required from “BTALM” connector (located on
the upper subrack) to one of the “TO SUBRACK/FRONT”
connectors (located on the PDP-MA).
•
Alarm cable, 3.2 m (CC848979944)
→
to lower subrack
Cable connection required from “BTALM” connector (located on
the lower subrack) to one of the “TO SUBRACK/FRONT”
connectors (located on the PDP-MA).
•
Rack top alarm cable, 1.5 m
→
to rack alarm circuit
Cable connection required from “TO RACKTOP/FRONT”
connector (located on the PDP-MA) to the rack alarm circuit
(rack alarm LEDs).
If there is a second rack equipped with two subracks (e.g.
back-to-back configuration), the number of cables must be doubled. In
