Description of the
Crimping Sets
Each die set contains an anvil, a crimper (stationary), an inner-ferrule
positioner and an outer-ferrule stop, see figure below.
The die set simultaneously crimps the inner ferrule and the outer
ferrule onto the cable. The crimper remains stationary within the
tooling while the anvil moves during the crimping operation.
The dies are numbered and the positioners bear letter inscriptions
(*1). These markings allow the operator to select the appropriate die
and the appropriate positioner for the the crimping tool, see Table.
