Level transmitter connection procedure:
1. In main menu [Options], indicate number of COM-port, to which the
USB/RS-485 converter is connected
[Options]>[COM port] – allows user to choose the COM1-COM20 port, to
which level transmitter network is connected. ‘AUTO’ item is chosen as de-
fault for the automatic selection of COM-ports.
2. Direct connection to level transmitter can be executed by two methods:
1) input its unique number in the ModBus address field and click the ‘OK’ but-
ton.

2) The click on the “Search” key starts the automatic querying the level trans-
mitters with generation of addresses from 1 to that indicated in the ‘Search to Mod-
bus No.’ field. Window shown in Fig. 6.8 will appear. The software adds the found
devices in list. The search is stopped after querying all the ModBus numbers (unless
‘Loop search’ checkbox is flagged). In order to connect to any of found level trans-
mitters for the further work, choose it in list and press ‘ENTER’ key or click ‘OK’
button.
