Missing or damaged sealing ring impairs the device ingress protection and can
result in its failure.

4.  Strip  the  cable  of  external  insulation.  When  using  shielded  cable,  remove
shield.
5. Strip wires of insulation 4-6mm from end. When using multiconductor wires,
it is recommended to crimp bare ends with lugs.
6. Connect the cable in accordance with the pin assignment diagram. According
to para. 5.4 – 5.5 and following instructions on device nameplate. Tighten screw
terminals with 3mm screwdriver.

Incorrect connection can result in device failure.

7.  Slightly  pull  wires  in  order  to  check  whether  these  are  securely  fixed  in  the
terminal block contacts.
8. Adjust cable length as necessary for connecting to terminals and tighten cable
gland nut securely. Sealing ring must fit tight to cable circumference.
9.  Check  cover  sealing  ring  (para.  12.15,  pos.  3)  availability  and  integrity  and
screw device cover on.
10. Connect external grounding terminal to vessel grounding using 6mm screw-
driver.
