Often, the right-hand softkey will allow you to
change the text entry mode. Activate this softkey
repeatedly to cycle through the various text entry
modes, outlined below. Note that not all web pages
will allow you to change the text entry mode.
ALPHA, UPPER-CASE letters, followed by
numbers
alpha, lower-case letters, followed by numbers
NUM, Numbers only
SYMB, Symbols (use the More softkey to see
different symbols)
Tip:
In ALPHA or alpha
entry modes, you
can enter symbols
by pressing the 1
key repeatedly.

Use the right arrow key to highlight the Home
softkey,and then press .
Entering Text
Some web pages require that you enter text using
your phone's keypad. Entering text in the browser is
very much like entering names in your Phone Book.
To enter text, use the technique outlined below:
1. Press the key labeled with the character you
want. Pressing a key repeatedly changes the letter
or number. For example, press the 5 key twice to
enter the letter K. If you accidentally pass the
character you want, press the key repeatedly until
the desired character cycles back.
2. The cursor automatically advances one space
when you press a different key or after a
short delay.
3. Press to enter a space.
4. Use the to erase text. To erase all the text
at once, press and hold .
5. Use and to move the cursor
left and right.
