Sensor removals

Flags, Paper Present/Top-of-form removal

Remove the lower feed roller. Go to

“Roller, lower feed removal” on page 4-33

Remove the Paper Present flag or the Top-of-form flag from the paper guide.

Sensor (head gap and home position)

Remove the rear cover. See

“Covers, rear removal” on page 4-5

Remove the top cover. See

“Covers, top removal” on page 4-5

Disconnect the sensor cable (A) from the logic board.

Release the latches (B) and pull the the home position sensor off the bracket.
