Completing the parts replacement
To complete the parts replacement, do the following:
1. Ensure that all components have been reassembled correctly and that no tools or loose screws are
left inside your server.
2. Ensure that all internal cables are connected and routed correctly and secured by any cable clips or
ties in the server. Keep cables clear of the hinges and sides of the chassis to avoid interference with
reinstalling the air baffle and the server cover. The following illustration shows an example of the cable
routing in the chassis with two 3.5-inch HDDs. For instructions on connecting cables for HDDs, slim
optical drive, and RAID card, see “Connecting the cables” on page 19.

3. If you have removed the air baffle, reinstall it. See “Installing the air baffle” on page 51.
