Configures
the
bind
request
method
used
by
the
LDAP
client
for
authentication.
It
also
configures
the
LDAP
version
used.
The
LDAP
server
will
allow
only
authenticated
LDAP
clients
to
search
or
retrieve
directory
entries
stored
on
the
server.
login
‐
configures
the
switch
to
use
login
credentials
when
sending
a
bind
request.
The
LDAP
client
will
construct
a
DN
using
the
username
and
other
fields,
such
as
the
domain
name
or
the
user
search
attribute.
pre
config
‐
configures
the
switch
to
use
credentials
specified
via
the
ldap
server
binddn
command
when
sending
a
bind
request.
sasl
‐
configures
the
switch
to
use
Simple
Authentication
and
Secure
Layer
(SASL)
when
sending
a
bind
request.
The
default
bind
request
method
is
login
.
Note
:
This
option
is
available
only
in
LDAP
enhanced
mode.
Command
mode
:
Global
configuration
ldap
server
binddn

Configures
a
customized
distinguished
name
(DN)
and
password.
This
creates
a
set
of
pre
‐
configured
credentials
that
can
be
used
for
authentication
when
sending
a
bind
request
to
the
LDAP
server.

The
credentials
configured
through
this
command
are
used
only
when
the
switch
bind
mode
is
set
to
pre
config
.
If
the
bind
mode
is
set
to
login
,
any
credentials
configured
through
this
command
are
ignored.
Note
:
This
option
is
available
only
in
LDAP
enhanced
mode.

Deletes
the
pre
‐
configured
credentials.
Note

option

full
path
for
