Figure 31 Leguan 135 NEO tracks

To inspect the tightness of the tracks:

Raise the access platform off the ground using the outriggers. The tracks should be off the
ground minimum 5 cm. The tightness is correct if the gap between the track and the track
frame is the same from end to end (marked with

red lines

in figure 32). The correct gap is 20-25

mm.

Adjustment of the tightness of the track

If you find that a track has loosened after inspecting the tracks as described in chapter 9.12,
tighten the track as follows:

The track is tightened with a preloaded spring. To tighten the track, loosen the nuts marked (A)
and (B) in figure 32. Then tighten nuts D and E and hold bolts C (or vice versa). This pulls the
bolts (figure 32, (C)) and the adjustment plate towards the middle of the track and tighten the
load on the spring. Tighten the nuts just enough so that the track straightens in relation to the
track frame. Tighten both nuts evenly. After the adjustment tighten the nuts A and B.
