To display the Authentication Configuration:
1.
Click , Authentication.
2.
Scroll to set Login Primary and Login Secondary field.
3.
Specify the Authentication retry field. (Range: 1 to 3)
4.
Click Apply.

ARAMETERS
These parameters are displayed on the Authentication page:

Console – Scroll to set console authentication method with Login
primary or Login secondary. Default: Primary is ―Local‖ and
Secondary is ―None‖.

Telnet - Scroll to set Telnet authentication method with Login
primary or Login secondary. Default: Primary is ―Local‖ and
Secondary is ―None‖

Web - Scroll to Web authentication method with Login primary or
Login secondary. Default: Primary is ―Local‖ and Secondary is
―None‖.

Authentication retry – Specify the Authentication retry field. To
set the Authentication retry for all three login authentication
methods. Range: 1-3 and default is 3.

Apply – Click the Apply Button to save all setting to switch flash
memory.

authenticate including Console, Telnet and Web authentication
method via server .It provides advanced security.
