24x12 gearbox with reverse shuttle
and options
Reverse shuttle with creeper
On request, the tractor can be equipped with a gearbox
with reverse shuttle and creeper with 1:5, 12 reduction
ratio able to obtain a total of 24 forward speeds and 12
reverse speeds as indicated below:
12 forward creeper speeds from 0.3
Km/h at 5.6 Km/h.
12 standard forward speeds from 1.7
Km/h to 29.5 Km/h.
12 standard reverse speeds from 1.7
Km/h to 29.8 Km/h.
The gearshift levers (C) (Fig. 82) and those to select the
low, standard and high ranges (A) are the same as those
of the standard gearbox, while lever (B) is used to engage
the reverse shuttle and creeper.
Do not use the creeper with the range selector lever (A) is
in the high range position. It can, however, be used in the
high range for work with the PTO but not for draft work
(ploughing, subsoiling, etc.).
To engage the creeper or reverse shuttle, stop the tractor
(only for the creeper) and move the control lever (B) to the
desired position. The reverse shuttle and forward gears
are synchronized while the creeper is engaged by means
of a sliding sleeve.
The table on page 100 gives the speeds in Km/h with the
engine at top rate with rear tyres as indicated.
Reverse shuttle with underdrive
On request, the tractor can be equipped with a gearbox
with reverse shuttle and underdrive with 1:1.2 reduction
ratio able to obtain a total of 24 forward speeds and 12
reverse speeds as indicated below:
12 forward speeds reduced by 20% from 1.4
Km/h to 25.0 Km/h.
12 standard forward speeds from 1.7
Km/h to 29.5 Km/h.
12 standard reverse speeds from 1.7
Km/h to 29.8 Km/h.
The gearshift levers (C) (Fig. 82) and those to select the
low, standard and high ranges (A) are the same as those
of the standard gearbox, while lever (B) is used to
engage the reverse shuttle and underdrive.
To engage the underdrive or reverse shuttle, disengage
the clutch and move the control lever (B) to the desired
position. The clutches are synchronized.
The table on page 101 gives the speeds in Km/h with the
engine at top rate and with rear tyres as indicated.
Reverse shuttle with overdrive
On some markets and when permitted by the Highway
Code, the tractor can be equipped with a gearbox with
reverse shuttle and overdrive able to obtain a total of 24
forward speeds plus 12 reverse speeds as below:
12 standard forward speeds from 1.7
Km/h to 29.5 Km/h
12 fast forward speeds from 2.19
km/h to 37.8 Km/h
12 standard reverse speeds from 1.7
Km/h to 29.8 Km/h
The gearshift levers (C) (Fig. 82) and those to select the
low, standard and high ranges (A) and the same as those
of the standard gearbox, while lever (B) is used to
engage the reverse shuttle and overdrive.
To engage the overdrive or reverse shuttle, disengage
the clutch and move the control lever (B) to the desired
position. The clutches are synchronized.
The table on page 102 gives the speeds in Km/h with the
engine at top rate and with rear tyres as indicated.
