If the truck is equipped with an automated arm: use the joystick to extend the automated arm in
order to get better access to the hopper area.
If the truck is equipped with an SSO tipper, fully lower the tipper.
If the truck has a co-mingle type body, make sure the chute is inclined to the left.
3.
Extend the packer until it has reached ¾ of the total hopper length.
4.
Disengage the pump and stop the engine.

Lock out and tag out the vehicle (see
Locking Out and Tagging Out the Vehicle
6.
Remove the right-hand side anti-spill guard (if equipped).

Remove the 2 bolts holding the access cover to the packer panel.
Danger!
Secure the area around the path of the arm when performing maintenance or repair.
Danger!
Do not enter the hopper while the packer is moving.
