5-1. Operations before measurement
Transmitter’s Firmware Ver. 2.00 or later (if using the MRS-104A-S, MRS-101A-S/SE)
Turn the transmitter off.
Press the "STOP" switch.
Enter Command Mode.
Press the "START" switch.
Enter Measurement Mode.
<Operation Details>
When the bridge is connected normally, the "CHECK" LED lights up in green
and the receiver produces approximately 2.5 V of analog output for five seconds.
If there is a problem with the bridge connection, the "CHECK" LED will light
up in red. The LED will also light up in red if the bridge resistance value
specified differs greatly from the bridge resistance value set in the Setting
Software.
Voltage based on the sensor signal from the receiver's analog output is output as
continuous data with a D/A conversion speed in accordance with the number of
measurement channels.
In Measuring Mode, the "START" LED and "LOCK" LED light up in green.
In Measuring Mode, no control commands except "STOP" are received.
* Settings for data processing, in case of wireless communication errors,
can be configured using the Setting Software.
When the transmitter receives a "STOP" command, the "START" LED turns off,
and the product switches to Command Mode.
* When the "DATA" LED is lit in red and the "START" LED is lit in
green, the product is still in Measuring Mode.
Press the "STOP" switch again to stop measurement.
Operation continues in Command Mode unless the transmitter is turned off and
the battery continues to be consumed.
Power consumption can be reduced to 150 μA or lower either by holding down
the "SLEEP" switch to enter sleep for the specified period or holding down the
"Tx OFF" switch.
* With SLEEP, the product returns to Mrasuring Mode after the period
specified in the Setting Software elapses. With Tx OFF, operation stops
until the transmitter is restarted.
The transmitter start up in Measurement Mode.
BAL is successful when its value is within the Balance Adjustment Range. In
this case, the "BAL" LED lights up in green, and the receiver’s analog output
voltage is approximately 0 V.
BAL fails when its value is outside the Balance Adjustment Range. In this case,
the "BAL" LED lights up in red. To troubleshoot the issue, check the sensor
connection.
* BAL results are stored in nonvolatile memory on the transmitter.
The previous BAL results are read when the transmitter is restarted.
