4. Measuring Mode and Command Mode
4-1. Telemeter operating modes
The telemeter has two modes: Command Mode and Measuring Mode.
In Command Mode, control commands are sent from the receiver to the transmitter, which then responds to the
receiver.
In Measuring Mode, the transmitter groups sampled measurement data into packets, each of which contains a certain
quantity of data, and sends packets intermittently and continuously by wireless communication. The receiver
receives these packets.
The receiver cannot execute control commands other than STOP at this time, so it is essentially only used for
receiving data packets.
In Measuring Mode, the receiver can execute a STOP control command to return to Command Mode, after which
control commands, such as BAL and CHECK, can be executed.

The receiver sends commands to the transmitter.
The transmitter sends responses to these commands to the receiver.
Measuring Mode
The transmitter continuously sends measurement data to the receiver.
The receiver can only send STOP commands to the transmitter.
The following is a diagram that shows the communication sequence between the transmitter and receiver.
However, the operation differs depending on the transmitter’s Firmware Ver.
