The telemeter uses the 2.4 GHz band radio frequency.
Radio waves in this frequency band have high straightness, so the waves are less likely able to maneuver
around obstacles. For this reason, install the transmitting and receiving antennas so that each antenna is
visible from the position of the other. In addition, if the transmitter or receiver is installed in a place that
moves, ensure that the transmitting and receiving antennas are mutually visible throughout the path of
movement.

Avoid installing the antennas near the floor, the ground plane, and/or metal surfaces.
The antenna properties might worsen when the transmitting and receiving antennas are installed near the floor,
the ground plane, and/or metal surfaces. Thus, to the extent possible, install the transmitting and receiving
antennas away from those areas.
