Place the wheel mounting base (disc rotor
part) with the calipers attached.
As shown in the illustration, prepare two
double-folded corrugated cardboards in an
appropriate size

Remove the front and rear calipers in order
from the disc rotor part.
After removing the caliper, insert the
corrugated cardboard prepared in Procedure
9 immediately between the cam pad and
carrier pad.
If the corrugated cardboard is not inserted,
the pads will be misaligned inside the
caliper, and it may be difficult to remove the
inner parts.

Place the caliper with the side where the disc
rotor is to be inserted oriented upward.
Remove the corrugated cardboard with
holding the pad by hands to prevent the cam
pad from getting out.
Pull out the carrier pad and pad support
upward through the groove of the housing.

Pad support (carrier)
Remove the cam pad, pad support, and
spring retainer through the hole on the
carrier housing.
Note:
The cam pad support is worn by the cam
pushing it.
Inspect the depth of the wear groove.
If the depth of the groove is deeper than 0.5
mm (0.02 in), replace the pad support.
