[5] REMOVING EXTERNAL COMPONENTS

(1) Damper Disc

Damper Disc (Hydraulic Shuttle Model)

1. Remove the damper disc (1).

(When reassembling)

• Direct the shorter end of the damper disc boss toward the

flywheel.

• Apply molybdenum disulphide (Three Bond 1901 or equivalent)

to the spline.

(2) External Parts

Fan, Starter and Alternator (ROPS Model)

1. Remove the fan (1) and fan belt (4).
2. Remove the alternator (2).
3. Remove the starter (3).

(When reassembling)

• Adjust the fan belt tension refer to “[1] CHECKING AND

ADJUSTING” in this section.

Fan, Starter, Alternator and Power Steering Controller (CABIN
Model)

1. Remove the air conditioner drive belt (7).
2. Remove the fan (1) and fan belt (6).
3. Remove the alternator (2) and starter (5).
4. Remove the power steering controller (3).
5. Remove the bonnet stay (4).

(When reassembling)

• Adjust the fan belt tension refer to “[1] CHECKING AND

ADJUSTING” in this section.

• Adjust the air conditioner drive belt tension refer to “7. CHECK

AND MAINTENANCE” at “G. GENERAL” section.
