12.4.7

Adjustments to the Wrapping
Mechanism

Before making adjustments to the
wrapping mechanism, always swing the
blade carrier into the upper position and
secure by inserting the locking pawl
(right hand side of the machine, behind
the drive wheel on the net wrapping
mechanism). High risk of injury!

Distance Between the Actuating Wheel and
Friction Wheel

The distance between the actuating wheel (1) and the
friction wheel (2) should be a = 1 mm. The adjustment is
made at the adjusting nuts (3). To make the adjustment,
undo the locked adjusting nuts. Adjust the distance and
lock the nuts against each other again. The extension
spring (4) must be set to a dimension of b = 25 - 35
mm.

Distance from the Spring Bar to the
Adjusting Screw

There is a foldable tip (1) located at the end of the spring
bar (2) which is screwed to the spring bar so that it can
move. The distance from the spring bar to the adjusting
screw must be a = 2 -3 mm. To make the adjustment,
undo the screws (3) and slide the spring bar. Tighten up
the screws again after making the adjustment.
