After inserting the net in the wrapping mechanism close
the locking pawl (1) behind the drive wheel (2) again (see
direction of arrow). Pull the spring bar (4) through at lever
(3), remove from the adjusting screw (5) and bring to the
position shown.

All procedures described for the net also
apply for the use of foil as a wrapping
material.

12.4.4

Wrapping Process for the Net Wrapping Mechanism

Besides being equipped with a net wrapping mechanism, the KR 130 and KR 160 round balers
can be equipped with a twine binding mechanism at the same time. Make sure that only one
wrapping mechanism can be started at a time. For this reason only the synthetic cord or the
steel cord may be hooked up to the actuating lever.

For the operation of the net wrapping mechanism, hook
the steel cord (2) to the lever (3) which is controlled by
the starter mechanism's hydraulic cylinder. The hydraulic
starter mechanism is thereby connected to the lever (1)
on the right hand side of the machine. The lever causes
among other things the raising of the cutter blade at the
start of the wrapping process.
