12.2.5

Starting the Binding or Wrapping
Process Automatically

The sequence of functions is the same as described in
section 12.2.4 for starting the binding or wrapping
process manually. In the function position Automatic
Binding, button (1), the binding process is started
automatically once the pre-selected baling pressure is
reached. Crop collection must continue until the binding
or wrapping material in the bale chamber has been
taken. This happens towards the end of the intermittent
buzzer tone. Stop, wait for the binding or wrapping
process to finish, eject the bale, close the tail gate, and
continue baling.

The binding or wrapping process can
also be started at any time in the
Automatic Binding position by pressing
button (1).

If the control and indicator box is
switched off during or after the binding
or wrapping process, before the bale is
ejected from the bale chamber and
before the tail has been closed again, the
programme does not return. A binding or
wrapping cycle is started immediately
when it is switched on again.

A binding or wrapping cycle is also started if for any
reason the tail gate is opened while the PTO shaft is
running. To prevent this press button (1) to switch to
manual binding or switch off the control and indicator box
at button (2). It can also be switched off at the master
switch.
