Before the starter mechanism can be laid behind the
side plates, the twine guide plate (1) must be
unscrewed from the starter (2). Lay the twine guide
plate in the twine box.

In the KR 130 the bracket (1) for holding the starter (2)
is located on the right hand side of the machine. Secure
the starter with a spring (3) once inserted in the bracket.

The bracket (1) for the starter (2) for the double binding
mechanism in the KR 160 is located on the left hand
side of the machine. Secure the starter with a spring (3)
here as well.
