Locking Hook Stop
In order to guarantee that the tail gate is correctly
locked, it is necessary to check the setting of the
locking hook stop (1) for the tail gate lock. When the tail
gate is open, the distance (a) between the adjusting
screw (3) and the feeler (4) must be 2 - 5 mm. To make
the adjustment, undo the self-locking nuts (2) and twist
the adjusting screw. After successfully making the
adjustment tighten up the self-locking nuts again.
Similarly, the distance a between the locking hook stop
(2) and the limit stop (1) must also be checked. The
distance a should be 2 - 5 mm. The adjustment is made
by undoing the nuts (3) and shifting the limit stop in the
slots (4). After successfully making the adjustment
tighten up the nuts again.
