Additional
troubleshooting
The following are additional troubleshooting situations that may arise.
Situation
Solution
General problems with the
scanner (Endorser,
Encoder, etc.) and the
specific troubleshooting
does not work
1. Cancel the run, and start it again.
2. Exit the Operating System Software, and
start it up again.
If this does not work:
3. Exit the Operating System Software. Turn
the scanner off; wait about 15 seconds and
turn the scanner back on. Then restart the
computer and start the Operating System
Software again.
Doctype unknown in the
Document List.
No Run Definition of the current run fits with the
current document.
The text output file contains
just the UN and blanks.
Check the type of the document in the
Document List. If it is unknown, there may be an
error in the Run Definition.
Machine is blocked.
Use the
Force Jam
or
Force Jam Handling
buttons to store the processing documents
before turning off the scanner.
Machine status: Run in use The Operating System Software cannot start the
selected run. There may not be a suitable Run
Definition for the run.
Scan module in the Context
Selection list is not
available.
Check the license server.
