USING THE PROJECTOR
This section describes how to use and make adjustments to the projector. It also provides a
reference to the keypad and remote buttons and the options available from the on-screen menus.
Basic Image Adjustment
If the image doesn’t display completely, zoom the image (page 20), adjust the height of the
projector (page 30), choose a different screen aspect (page 24) or choose a different resize
option (page 44). Be sure the projector is at a 90
°
angle to the screen.
If the image is out of focus, rotate the focus ring (page 20).
If the image is not square, adjust the keystone (page 21).
If the colors don’t look right, adjust the brightness, contrast, tint, color, or sharpness (page 23) or
the color space or gain (page 28).
Adjusting the Projector
To focus the image, rotate the focus ring until the image is clear. To zoom the image, rotate the
zoom ring. This adjusts the image size. You can also zoom in on part of the image, see page 22.

and focus on the text. This will

image quality is achieved.
The projector is equipped with a self-locking, quick-release elevator foot and button.
To raise the projector:
Press and hold the elevator button. Raise the projector to the height you want, then
release the button to lock the elevator foot into position.

If necessary, turn the leveling knob to adjust the angle of the projected image.
