5.7.1 Creating a Link
Note: If W1 (W = Wait) is used, the detector waits in Hold mode (“H”) for
an external start signal or for the user to press the upward key to set the
status to Run (“R”) before executing this line . If the W0 setting is used, the
link sequence is run without interruption .

Select the Device Links menu .
2. Enter the link number (from the currently
displayed list) .

Press the confirmation button to enter the
editing mode of the link .
4. Move the cursor to position P (P = Program) in
the display and enter the program number you
wish to run .

Move the cursor to position R (R = Repeat) and
edit the value (number of repetitions for the
specified program) .
6. Move the cursor to position W (W=Wait) in the
display and select 0 (do not wait) or 1 (wait) .
7. Create a new line by moving the cursor to the
lower left corner and navigate through indivi-
dual link lines via the vertical arrow keys
until you reach the “new line” screen .

Navigate the cursor to the line number and
enter the number of the new line via vertical
arrow keys or confirmation key and
numerical keypad .
9. Confirm the new line number via the confirma-
tion key . Now, you can edit the values of the
new line, as done before .
