Via Monitor source the type
of signal can be selected
(absorption, signal channel
intensity, reference channel
intensity) .

I (sig/ref) provides the actual
light intensities measured
for signal- and reference
channel .

P (sig/ref) provides the ab-
solute light intensity of signal-
and reference channel at the
UV-maximum, measured after
a calibration . The values are
independent from the inte-
gration time default setting
and can be used as a spec-
tral sources’ quality gauge .
Further, the intensity of the
signal channel allows you to
draw conclusions about the
measurement situation of the
optical flow cell path . (instal-
led flow cell type, solvent
usage, bubble free, etc .) .
