Operation

BlueShadow Detector 40D Instructions V7647

Fraction

collection

A fraction collector can be con-

trolled through the pin header

on the back of the detector .

Press the confirmation key

 to

enter the submenu:

ƒ

The

Fraction level is used

to specify the signal height

that needs to be exceeded

to switch on the fraction

collection .

ƒ

With the

Fraction delay the

propagation delay due to

the delay volume of the

capillaries between detec-

tor and fraction collector is

considered .

ƒ

When the set threshold in the

Fraction level is exceeded,

the event output selected

in the

Fraction port line is

switched on and remains

active until the signal drops

below the threshold value .

The threshold always relates

to the signal on the measure-

ment channel . The following

event outputs can be selec-

ted via the

Fraction port para-

meter (please also see pin

header connectors section

for details on TTL-level and

permissible loads, etc .):

Event 1 (relay contact via

pin header „EV1“)

Event 2 (TTL output via

pin header „EV2“)

Event 3 (TTL output via

pin header „EV3“)

24V (+24V via pin header

„+24V valve“)

Analog output

setup

Here the offset (constant baseli-

ne shift) and the

scale (in au/V)

of the integrator output can be

set .
