Installing the Swivel Stop

Observe the safety notice, see section 8.1
“Safety Notice for Adjustment Work”,
page 86.
•
Unscrew the setscrew from the
threaded hole .
•
Turn the extension arm or spring arm to the
desired stop position and insert 1 ball
stop into the threaded hole .
Checking the correct fit of the ball stop
If the ball stop is fully locked in one of the
mounting fixtures the extension arm or
spring arm can be rotated. Otherwise it is
blocked and the ball stop must be pressed
into one of the mounting fixtures using a
screwdriver while carefully rotating the
extension arm or spring arm.
•
Turn the extension arm or spring arm to the
desired second stop position and insert
1 additional ball stop into the threaded
hole .
•
Slightly rotate the extension arm or spring
arm and screw in the setscrew up to the
end stop of the threaded hole .
The setscrew now serves as an end stop for
the installed ball stop and limits the range of
rotation of the extension arm or spring arm.
