Permissible Adaptions
The following products are permitted as adaptions to the suspension arm system:

M6 service head and approved end devices in accordance with the current instruction
manual for the M6 service head
•
Optional accessories

Indirect extension arm lighting, 2 kg

Brake indicator lighting panel, 0.1 kg
The components are compatible with each other and can be safely operated. Any other
assembly, especially use of components by third parties, is strictly prohibited, as this could
produce sources of danger.
Combination of any other Gebrüder Martin product with the suspension arm system must be
confirmed by Gebrüder Martin. A new conformity evaluation may have to be created.
The suspension arm system can be equipped with adaptions and end devices by other
manufacturers. The maximum load-bearing capacity must be noted here to prevent dangerous
overloading, which could lead to damage or collapse of the suspension arm system, see
section 9.2 “Technical Data”, page 100.
It is the responsibility of the operator to validate the complete system and, if applicable,
complete a conformity evaluation procedure and submit a declaration in accordance with
Article 12 of Directive 93/42/EWG.
Please refer to the instruction manuals of the respective manufacturer for the information
required to operate the end device.
