User Interface Reference
With these managed objects (MOs) the following functions are covered:
Please note that Ethernet switching related operations like VLAN tagging, fil-
tering, etc. are part of the managed object “bridges” on NE level, which is
described in
[356] User Manual “Ethernet Switching” .
Please note that MPLS-TP Transport related operations like Tunnel creation,
etc. are part of the managed object “MPLS-TP” on NE level, which is
described in
[358] User Manual “MPLS-TP” .
For each of the managed objects, properties and commands, the GUI “Tree
Views” are given.

MO Description of the management functions
unit-x: COGE5 Rxx
(co5un_r2b) Restart of the unit, management of the unit ESW, labelling,
indication of equipment status, read of inventory data, access
to logbooks. Configuration of unit parameters and equipment
protection parameters, creating or deleting of data confer-
ences.

x: COGE5 (on page 73).
port-a Management of the Ethernet front ports. The AP “port-a”
includes both, 1000BASE-X/10000BASE-R SFP Ethernet ports
(port-1 and port-2), and electrical 10/100/1000BASE-T Ether-
net ports (port-3 to port-5).

mau The mau provides the fault management functions of the SFPs.

(co5ne_r2b) Management of the NE ESW, labelling, indication of equipment

agement.

Port Configuration and fault management of the local management
port.

iports The iports AP contains all internal Ethernet ports.
iport-b Management of the Ethernet internal ports. The internal ports
connect all service units with the core unit COGE5 and connect
the working and redundant core units when using equipment
protection.
