Character Entry
is the function to enter alphanumeric characters and symbols by using the
[0]
to
[9]

key.
Symbols and lower-case characters can be entered by using the
[0]
to
[9]
,
[
G
]
, or
[
H
]
key on the keypad. The number of
key operations for entering characters can be minimized by configuring only necessary characters.
A maximum of 16 alphanumeric characters and symbols, namely 8 characters of
Capital Font
and 8 characters of
Small
Font
, can be configured for each of the
[0]
to
[9]
keys on the keypad.
A maximum of 80 alphanumeric characters and symbols can be configured for the
[
G
]
or
[
H
]
key on the keypad.
Character Entry
can be used to enter a message in Short Message Mode.
