Figure 4e: DNX R-2F/FC Port A1 and A2 Connections

The module supports 2-wire half duplex communication from CIE nodes
(RS-485 / ARCNET). With the DNX R-2F/FC-UG upgrade, the module dynamically
manages and protects the data bus through monitoring the data it routes. The
modules are transparent to the CIE protocols, only routing and analysing the data
structure but not the content. The maximum standard transmission rate supported on
the CIE ports (A1 and A2) is 115.2 kbit/s for RS-485 and 312 kbits/s for ARCNET.
(Higher transmission rates are possible with OEM support).
