Special Installation Maintenance

Routine Maintenance of the System (Every 6 months)

Recommended maintenance of the systems is as follows:

Repeat Commissioning test at least every six months . The test includes checking the opening pressure of the Relief 
Valve, setting of the Minimum Pressure Sensor, the “Normal Working Pressure” of the enclosure . Test that the interlock 
and alarms function correctly .
Check the Relief Valve and any other Spark Arrestors . Remove any debris or corrosion, or replace the Spark Arrestor . 
Check the condition of the air supply filter element . Clean or replace it as necessary . 

Periodic Maintenance (Every 18-24 months)

At least every two years, the following additional checks are recommended:

Apparatus (Heater, Purge Systems, Alarms etc .) is suitable for the Hazardous Location .
There are not unauthorized modifications .
The source of air is uncontaminated .
The interlock and alarms function correctly .
Approval labels are legible and undamaged .
Adequate spare parts are carried .
The action of pressure failure is correct .
