Planmäßige Wartung und Einstellung

WARNUNG

Das Fahrzeug darf nicht bei herun-

tergeklapptem Seitenständer gefah-

ren werden, bzw. wenn der Ständer

sich nicht vollständig hochklappen

lässt (oder wenn er nicht in hoch-

geklappter Stellung bleibt). Der

Seitenständer könnte während der

Fahrt den Boden berühren und den

Fahrer ablenken, so dass er mög-

licherweise die Kontrolle über das

Fahrzeug verliert.

Das System zur Unterbrechung

des Zündungsschaltkreises wurde

entwickelt, um den Fahrer dazu zu

zwingen, den Seitenständer einzu-

klappen, bevor das Fahrzeug in Be-

trieb gesetzt wird. Das System muss

regelmäßig wie nachstehend be-

schrieben kontrolliert und von einer

Keeway-Vertragswerkstatt repariert

werden, falls es nicht einwandfrei

funktioniert.

Prüfen der Gabel

Der Zustand und die Funktion der Gabel

müssen in den in der Tabelle für die plan-

mäßige Wartung und Schmierung ange-

gebenen Intervallen wie folgt überprüft

werden.

So überprüfen Sie den Zustand

Prüfen Sie die Schläuche auf Kratzer, Schä-

den oder übermäßigen Ölaustritt.

So überprüfen Sie den Betrieb

1. Das Fahrzeug auf einer ebenen Fläche

abstellen und in aufrechter Stellung

halten.

WARNUNG

Um Verletzungen zu vermeiden,

stützen Sie das Fahrzeug sicher ab,

damit es nicht umkippt.

2. Drücken Sie bei angezogener Vorder-

radbremse den Lenker mehrmals fest

nach unten, um zu prüfen, ob die Ga-

bel gleichmäßig ein- und ausfedert.

ACHTUNG

Wenn die Gabel beschädigt ist oder

nicht reibungslos funktioniert, las-

sen Sie sie von einem Keeway-Händ-

ler überprüfen oder reparieren.
