Funciones de los instrumentos y mandos

Pedal de freno

El pedal de freno está situado en el lado

derecho de la motocicleta. Para accionar el

freno trasero pise el pedal.

Sistema de frenado combinado CBS

Este vehículo dispone de un sistema de fre-

nado combinado. Al pisar el pedal del freno

trasero se activa el freno trasero y también

el delantero.

Para una frenada completa y eficiente, tire

al mismo tiempo de las manetas del freno

delantero y trasero, tal y como se haría con

el sistema de frenado de los vehículo con-

vencionales.

Como en el caso de los sistemas de frenado

convencionales de los vehículo, un uso ex-

cesivamente fuerte y repentino de los man-

dos de los frenos puede causar el bloqueo

de las ruedas, reduciendo así la capacidad

de control del vehículo.

Para el frenado normal, utilice ambos fre-

nos, delantero y trasero, en función de la

velocidad del vehículo.

Para obtener el máximo frenado, cierre el

acelerador y tire con firmeza de las mane-

tas de los frenos delantero y trasero.

ADVERTENCIA

Mantenga siempre una distancia su-

ficiente con el vehículo de delante en

función de la velocidad, incluso con

CBS.

El CBS funciona mejor con distancias

de frenada largas.

En algunas calzadas, como por ejem-

plo superficies irregulares o gravilla,

la distancia de frenado puede ser

mayor con CBS que sin CBS.
