Reinigung und Lagerung des Motorrads

Wenn sich Kunststoffteile jedoch

nicht gründlich mit Wasser reini-

gen lassen, kann ein in Wasser ver-

dünntes neutrales Reinigungsmit-

tel verwendet werden. Spülen Sie

Reinigungsmittelreste unbedingt

mit reichlich Wasser ab, da sie für

Kunststoffteile schädlich sind.

• Verwenden Sie keine starken Che-

mikalien für Kunststoffteile. Ach-

ten Sie darauf, keine Tücher oder

Schwämme zu verwenden, die mit

starken oder scheuernden Reini-

gungsmitteln, Lösungsmitteln oder

Verdünnern, Kraftstoff (Benzin),

Rostentfernern oder -inhibitoren,

Bremsflüssigkeit, Frostschutzmit-

teln oder Elektrolyten in Berührung

gekommen sind.

• Verwenden Sie keine Reinigungs-

maschinen mit Hochdruck- oder

Dampfstrahlern, da diese das Ein-

dringen von Wasser und die Be-

schädigung folgender Bereiche ver-

ursachen können: Dichtungen (von

Rad- und Schwingenlagern, Gabeln

und Bremsen), elektrische Kompo-

nenten (Stecker, Verbindungsele-

mente, Instrumente, Schalter und

Leuchten), Entlüftungs- und Belüf-

tungsrohre.

• Verwenden Sie keine scharfen

Reinigungsmittel oder harte

Schwämme, die stumpf machen

oder Kratzer verursachen. Einige

Kunststoffreiniger können Kratzer

auf der Windschutzscheibe hin-

terlassen. Testen Sie das Produkt

an einer kleinen, nicht sichtbaren

Stelle der Windschutzscheibe, um

sicherzustellen, dass keine Spuren

hinterlassen werden. Wenn die

Windschutzscheibe verkratzt ist,

verwenden Sie nach dem Waschen

eine hochwertige Kunststoffpolitur.

Nach normalem Gebrauch:

Entfernen Sie den Schmutz mit warmem

Wasser, einem milden Reinigungsmittel

und einem weichen, sauberen Schwamm

und spülen Sie anschließend gründlich mit

klarem Wasser nach.

Verwenden Sie eine Zahnbürste oder

eine Flaschenbürste für schwer zugängli-

che Stellen. Schwer zu behandelnde Ver-

schmutzungen und Insekten lassen sich

leichter entfernen, wenn man die betroffe-

ne Stelle einige Minuten vor der Reinigung

mit einem feuchten Tuch abdeckt.

Nach der Fahrt im Regen, in der Nähe des

Meeres

und auf Straßen, auf denen Salz gestreut

wurde

Da Meersalz oder im Winter gestreutes

Streusalz in Verbindung mit Wasser extrem

ätzend ist, gehen Sie wie folgt vor, wenn Sie

im Regen, in Meeresnähe und auf Straßen

mit Salzstreuung gefahren sind.

HINWEIS

Salz, das im Winter auf die Straßen gestreut

wurde, kann dort bis zum Frühjahr verbleiben.

1. Waschen Sie das Motorrad mit kaltem

Wasser und einem neutralen Reinigungs-

mittel, nachdem der Motor abgekühlt ist.
