Planmäßige Wartung und Einstellung

Kontrolle der Lenkung

Verschlissene oder lockere Lenkungslager

können eine Gefahrenquelle darstellen.

Daher sollte die Funktion der Lenkung in

den in der Tabelle für die planmäßige War-

tung und Schmierung angegebenen Inter-

vallen wie folgt überprüft werden.

1. Das Fahrzeug auf einer ebenen Fläche

abstellen und in aufrechter Stellung

halten.

WARNUNG

Um Verletzungen zu vermeiden,

stützen Sie das Fahrzeug sicher ab,

damit es nicht umkippt.

2. Halten Sie die unteren Enden der Ga-

bel fest und versuchen Sie, sie vorwärts

und rückwärts zu bewegen.

Wenn Sie ein Spiel spüren, lassen Sie

die Lenkung von einem Keeway-Händ-

ler überprüfen oder reparieren.

Kontrolle der Radlager

Prüfen Sie die vorderen und hinteren Rad-

lager in den in der Tabelle für planmäßige

Wartung und Schmierung angegebenen

Intervallen.

Wenn die Radnabe Spiel hat oder sich das

Rad nicht leichtgängig dreht, lassen Sie die

Radlager von einem Keeway-Händler über-

prüfen.

Batterie

Die Batterie befindet sich unter dem Sitz

(siehe Seite 3-12).

Dieses Modell ist mit einer wiederaufladba-

ren Batterie mit einem VRLA-Sicherheitsven-

til (Valve Regulated Lead Acid) ausgestattet.

Es ist nicht notwendig, den Elektrolyt zu

überprüfen oder destilliertes Wasser hinzu-

zufügen. Die Batteriekabelverbindungen

sollten jedoch überprüft und ggf. angezo-

gen werden.

Die Batterieflüssigkeit ist giftig und

gefährlich, da sie Schwefelsäure ent-
