Kamstrup Low Power radio module GDPR (type no.: HC-003-51)
With a radio module from Kamstrup placed in MULTICAL® 803, it is possible to read the calculator either via a hand-
held reading system - USB Meter Reader or via a fully automatic radio network and thus avoid disturbing the
customer.
The radio module is mounted in the calculator’s module slot without using tools and is ready for use in less than 10
seconds after having mounted the calculator top. The reading system now decides which data to read in the
calculator.
The radio module is designed for Walk-by/Drive-by using USB Meter Reader. It is also prepared to be part of a
Kamstrup radio mesh networks where data is automatically transferred to the system software via the network
components (routers and concentrators).
The radio module is available with both internal and external antenna. To achieve the best possible radio coverage
and range, Kamstrup recommends to use an external antenna.
The module is also equipped with extra pulse inputs for direct connection with other consumption meter, e.g. water
or electricity meters. Maximum cable size is 1.5 mm
2
.
Data security and data consumer protection must be ensured by applying individual encryption to the data registers
from the calculator.
See paragraph 11.5 for information about mounting of antenna.

LON TP/FT-10 + 2 pulse inputs (type no.: HC-003-60)
The LON TP/FT-10-module is developed for use in communication in free topology on twisted-pair cable. The module
is compatible with EN14908/EU and supports high-speed communication up to 78125 baud.
The LON module enables the integration of the energy meter in building automation systems or in industrial
applications. The LON module is delivered with bar codes with imprinted LON Node ID to ease the commissioning.
The module is supplied via the power supply in MULTICAL®.
