Safety transformer 230/24 VAC
The supply modules for 24 VAC are adjusted for use with a 230/24 VAC safety transformer, e.g. Kamstrup type 6699-
403/-404/-405, which is mounted in an electrical panel or another separate capsuling. For power consumption by
use of the safety transformer in connection with 24 VAC supply modules, see data sheet 5810-503.

Supply cables for supply module
Kamstrup A/S can deliver supply cables of the type H05 VV-F

2 x 0.75 mm² to be used for both 24 VAC and 230 VAC
as accessory for MULTICAL® 803. The supply cable to the calculator must not be protected by a fuse larger than the
one permitted.
In case of doubt, it is recommended to let an authorized electrician assess if the installation in question is performed
correctly as regards safety.

H05 VV-F is the type designation of the PVC-insulated cable with a rated voltage of 300/500 V and a maximum
temperature of
70 °C. During installation, be aware of keeping
an adequate distance to hot parts of the installation.

Retrofitting and replacement of supply modules
Supply modules can be replaced as long as they are of the same voltage specification as the one that MULTICAL® 803
was delivered with. Therefore, it is not permitted to change from 230 VAC to 24 VAC/VDC and vice versa unless the
connection board is also replaced. However, you can always add extra supply modules to MULTICAL® 803, which is
supplied via a single supply module from Kamstrup A/S (type 803-xxxxxxx-A and B).
Retrofitting requires supply module including supply cables that can be delivered as an accessory from Kamstrup A/S.

PLEASE REMEMBER TO DISCONNECT THE MAINS SUPPLY FROM THE CONNECTION BOARD
