8.1
Bleeding the dosing pump
The dosing pump must be bled at regular intervals and after cleaning has been completed.
Connect the dosing pump to mains voltage.
Unscrew the bleed valve 1- 2 turns (
).
Press the bleed key (100 %) and hold until the dosing medium flows through the bleed pipe into the
dosing tank continuously and completely free from bubbles.
Fully close the bleed valve again (
).
If the bleed process does not start or comes to a standstill, briefly open and close the
bleed valve (approximately 1 turn) while the bleed key is pressed (100 %)!
8.2
Cleaning
Clean the suction and pressure valves, the suction kit, the injection point and the dosing tank at regular
intervals as well as prior to taking out of service to remove deposits or similar. Clean the surfaces of the
dosing pump with a clean dry cloth.

Unscrew the suction and dosing pipes at
the suction and dosing valves.
Unscrew the suction and pressure valves
at the dosing head.
Carefully release the ball cages with a
suitable screwdriver from the valves.
Carefully release the ball seats from the
ball cages, remove the ball.
Clean all parts with clean water.
Correctly reassemble the parts and fit on
the dosing head, observe the direction of
flow (arrows).
Correctly screw the suction and dosing
pipes back on to the suction and dosing
valves in a leak-tight manner (observe
Chap. 4.3).
